About the Author
Dr. Ann Saffi Biasetti, PhD, LCSW, ERYT, is a psychotherapist with over 28 years of experience. She holds a PhD in Transpersonal Psychology from Sofia University and an MSW from Fordham University. Specializing in somatic psychotherapy and eating disorder recovery, Dr. Biasetti also teaches mindfulness, self-compassion, and yoga therapy. She created Mindfulness-Based Embodiment (MBE) and The Befriending Your Body Program (BFYB) for eating disorder recovery. She owns An Embodied Life yoga therapy school, offering trainings in restorative yoga and embodiment.
